Sony Xperia XZ Premium 960 FPS Sample

Photo: mobiwatch

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium offers a special trick: The camera can record videos with 960 frames per second (“fps”) instead of the usual 30, means the clips are slowed down 32x. Slow-motion features of mobile phones usually make 120, in best cases 240 frames per second, ergo a deceleration by the factor 4 or 8. Even if the Sony Xperia XZ Premium can capture these high speed videos at 1280 x 720 pixels and for 5 second periods within a regular video session only, the results are spectacular.
